Default Robins?

Just wondering - do you see robins in TV? Or is it too far south for them?

I will see them by the hundreds in March migrating up north, but never stay in Florida.
Being from the Great Lakes area, I really miss the Baltimore orioles.

We see them all the time around our house.

haven't seen them in 7 years down here...guess I'm just not looking out at the right time....I miss the northern birds that came to the feeding station.

but there are birds down here that we never saw up north....so it all evens out

They migrate back and forth. I grew up in S. Florida and we saw them every year, Red Breasted Robins.

A major food source for robins is the earth worn. Unfortunately, Florida's very dry, sandy soil is not a very good environment for worms. Thus, most robins seen in our area are just migrating through.

We've been here 12+ years and I've never spotted a robin. I've seen and heard cardinals though. Guess I'm not out and about like many are.
