We saw the vapor trail too - but it was all jagged by the time we saw it (blown by the wind or the rocket was doing a slalom course to get out of the atmosphere.

Have to watch for more of these. Better than some of the shuttles. The view was gorgeous in the twilight at @ 6:39 p.m.

I agree with you all here! The sky was a gorgeous back-drop to the plume and the "light" of the rocket. We'd have missed it if we hadn't been outside.
BTW...I'm always in awe of the beautiful sun-sets down here and twilight skies. Absolutely breath-taking!!! |
