Default Shaving Experimence

I have been shaving for over 65 years. I tried everything from 3 brands of electric razors to single blade Gillette to multiple blades. Every brand of shaving cream from foam to gel.

Currently I shave in the shower using a Gillette 5 blade razor and my wife's hair conditioner for shaving cream. It works OK but the hair conditioner makes the floor slippery.

So, what do you do and why do you like it?

There may be no hope after 65 years……………let it grow!

I shave in the shower with soap and a razor, but it's haphazard.
I have an electric razor for touch ups if I'm going out and about.
I do the best I can and don't worry

I usually shave with my Bowie knife but it's kinda dull after I skinned out that last 'gator...

Shave at the sink. Keep the electric razors dry.

Over 20,000 attempts and you haven't found out what is best way to shave?

I only shave once a week at most now since I retired. I just got a new $400 electric razor for Christmas that I know use. I also cut my hair every other shaving.

Once a week for me....electric trimmer.
Tried to let it grow....could not stand the itch that comes with it!

In front of a mirror.....I hate seeing a shave that looks like the guy had the hiccups while shaving!!!

Switching to a safety razor worked great for me. Cheap as dirt and much higher quality shave.

I haven't shaved in about 3 years. I -was- using a double edged safety razor, bristle brush... The whole 9 yards... But it got tiresome... I have a stockpile of blades that I'll never use in my lifetime...

Now, I use a pair of clippers. 2mm on the moustache, 1mm everywhere else, and I clean up the jaw-line/neck and cheeks with a disposable... I use it 1-2 times/week...

ugh, i hate electric razors. . and I have one and tried to use it again after finding it after about 10 years of losing it. . can't beat a razor. . however, at most twice a week. . in the sink. .

have to agree, after 20,000 attempts you haven't figured it out yet? there is no hope

Blood sacrifice, I mean shave, in shower twice a week. Disposable razor, cheap gel or foam. That is good enough for this face.
Still, if there was a good facial hair removal cream that was reasonably priced, I might be willing to give it a try. I really don't like shaving, but I really don't like beards. Especially my own.

Never got on with electric.
Wet shave, mirror, foam, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and for funerals.
