If you have Century Link highest speed (snail pace really!!) broadband than you cannot have Prism tv as well. If you only need a slower broadband speed you can have prism.
Personally have found Direct TV very good but changed recently from a complete Comcast package and I think their phone/broadband offerings significantly better than Century Link

We have had Prism for the past 2 years and have had no problem. I really haven't had any problems with the internet speed.

Polo Ridge may not have fiber which would require using bonded copper pairs for Prism. South of 466A is fiber to the home and service will likely be much better on fiber. We have all 3 Centurylink services on fiber and have no problems, WIFI is good too.

Polo Ridge does have fiber option. Many people in this Village have recently switched to Prism

We connected to Prism and reconnected to CenturyLink Broadband for Internet. They had to run fiber optics to the house. We live in the Marion County part of The Villages. Our Internet speed is easily 8 times faster than CenturyLink last Spring. It's now 40M.

We switched from Directv to Prism. We had been with Direct for over 11 years. It's not that we were terribly unhappy with Directv, we just want to give Prism a try. So far, we are really liking Prism. There isn't a whole lot of difference in the pricing between the two companies. I feel the picture quality seems the same of maybe even better. The overall system speed and operation is much better. I'm not in love with Prism's Guide, but I'm adapting.

I have been very satisfied with Prism and the all around service they provide. Much better than Comcast in my humble opinion.

We just received our first bill from Prism and I don't like what I see Went from approx. $160 having Direct to this new bill of $235. Plan to make some phone calls, hopefully there's an explanation.

We just moved here, have had CL Prism for 2 weeks, now want to a third TV. "Up North" (sorry) we could just connect the TV-to-wall cable without a tuner box and get limited channels, which is all we need for this third TV. The same approach is not working here. Any tips or suggestions, or do we need to bite the bullet and get another tuner box?

We had Direct TV for 4 years. I was quite satisfied with the signal, internet, and service. It also had many features that I liked. Trying to save a dollar or two, we switched to Prism. The Internet service suits our needs, and the WiFi is reliable. Now for the signal, we have a set top box, and wireless boxes in 2 other rooms. Our signal to our set top box freezes at times, even during good weather. Actually happens more than we experienced with satellite. And, our wireless box in the farthest room from the modem shuts off often, 3 or so times a week. CenturyLinks explanation is that with metal studs in the walls, there is probably too much interference to have a totally reliable signal. We sure didn't add those studs later, and CenturyLink sure didn't point out that potential signal problem before and during installation. As for Prism 2 Go, very inadequate choices of channels being that we are in the age of technology. Knowing what I know now, I prefer Direct TV over Prism, but that is just my opinion.

I just had comcast Infinity X1 platform installed. Love it. For new customers the top tier is $199 fixed for two years. You get DVR and up to 3 boxes @ no extra charge. phone and 105mbps internet ( mine tested at 125mbps) It also included all of the premium channels
(HBO, Showtime etc.) as well as the sports tier. I was an existing customer so I only got the pricing for one year. Check it out online Google Infinity X1

I had prism with fiber for two years. The best thing about Prism is that it doesn't go out when it rains. prism was fine but too expensive. Went back to Direct TV.
