The tally is not yet complete but it is highly likely that yesterday's Rotary Home and Garden/Chili event will exceed $100,00 in net proceeds. These fund will be under the stewardship of the Rotary Club of the Villages Foundation Inc.(501 c3).

Since inception in 2002 the Foundation has received community support of nearly $2,000,000 from the club and individuals. Last year funds went to scholarships for High School Seniors ($60,000+), Local Food Banks and other similar institutions($15000+), Support of Local schools and youth development( $20,000+) Humanitarian Aid in US and internationally($30,000+) and much more.

Everyone who attended, sponsored a display or chili or worked at the event is part of these charitable and humanitarian contributions. Our thanks to all is unbounded
