A new theater company has started in Tavares. Mary and I are going to the matinee tomorrow. We like to support local theater. If anyone is interested call 352-989-6176 for tickets they're only $10. They are presenting Steel Magnolias, thru Aug 2nd.

5 of us went to see this play on opening nite (July 24) and it was awesome. Very funny, fantastic acting, and great ending. I would highly recommend, especially for the price. We got tickets online and they were $11 ($1 online fee).

It was rather long though (which for us was not a problem). Play started at 8 and wasn't over until 10:30, but it was so good you don't notice the time.

They are also doing a Christmas play in December called Christmas Belles. Tickets go on sale November 1.

We went to the matinee yesterday and the play was excellent. Mary and I took some friends and they also enjoyed it. Not a dry eye in the house in the last act. It runs through Aug 2nd tell all your friends.
