Not at all surprising, it is what happens with all these pointless threads.

Just a bunch of old people bullsh--ing and busting. Rude ? Not really. Pointless, yep.

But, sometimes pointless threads can be fun and often amusing. Good to chuckle once in awhile. :D

Without pointless threads, I could never have reached 1,500 posts.

Pointless? Well... unless there was a coyote standing in line at Publix I really don't care...

applesoffh 01-08-2016 06:00 PM

Has nothing to do with Publix per se, but I see everyone talking about Snowbirds. Does anyone know where it would be possible to find out the number of renters in the area 12/1 - 3/31 as opposed to owners who are true snowbirds during that time? I have nothing against renters, but owners tend to have different attitudes than people who have no vested interest here. I know, I know...I can read the complaints already, so perhaps I'm not stating myself clearly, but I'm pretty sure most will get the gist of what I'm saying.

I think it was Jeff Foxworthy who said " Florida is a Northern state that attached itself to the South"

Didn't you ever rent here before you bought?

tomwed 01-08-2016 06:31 PM

I think when you go on vacation it's natural to overdue it and not be yourself. You're on vacation and you think that you won't get hurt and the clock is ticking before you return. You want to squeeze in all the fun stuff, not shopping or safety. Back home you don't drive a golf cart to get around. If you did, you wouldn't wear earplugs. You would know about the guy who didn't hear the truck coming.

I'll bet Disneyworld has many stories about foolish vacation accidents by ordinary people that get caught up in the hoopla..

I'm curious. When you find out the number of renters, what are you planning to do with the information?
