In spite of all the negative things we heard, we are here and here to stay.

Bring on all the jealous rumors. I find them rather amusing.

The New York Post has been owned by Rupert Murdoch who also began Fox News. In Mr. Murdoch's world 'facts' are what you make up to create your sensational 'news'. It is much cheaper that way and you can always 'prove' your point of view.

"A lot of the men down here are cheaper than heck," she says, "and a lot of the women are extremely brazen. Some girls will go into the parking lot with a man and come back a half-hour later like nothing happened!"

"We've had some of those complaints," said a laughing Lt. Laurie Davis of the Lady Lake Police Department, ticking off other offenses, like drunken driving in golf carts, illegal drug use, and bar fights. (....some of those complaints...what does this mean?)

Bogie, I agree that the New York Post piece is full of hype and unsubstantiated drivel. But I question your statement, "Its a known fact Blechman was never in The Villages."

How could this be a known fact? By whom? I'm not defending the book-- I found it entertaining but silly-- just asking how you could possibly know for a fact he was never in TV?

In one of the many previous posts on the book Leisureville it was stated; "there was evidence he had written the portion regarding TV from afar". There seemed to be agreement at the time that that was true.
If it would clear up your confusion, I can retract that statement, since I do not have the time to go back and review the other posts and besides I have already given the author more that his fifteen minutes of fame.
