Also, I think it matters how much you care about your performance in a particular sport. I cared/care a lot about my tennis/pickleball performance. Golf I just play for fun & socialization. So I don't swear as much.

You have to get to the ball, then you have to get it over the net away from your opponent multiple times to even win point. Golf like billiards you have all the time to set up for the shot. To DBussone's response, I have to say that there are sports for all of us that are frustrating and hard to play. Golf would be mine, and maybe tennis is Dbussone's. Ice hockey! I'd be the one with the missing front teeth.
