Default Were Packed

Nervous , tired , happy, etc....... Well the truck is packed and ABF is picking it up tomorrow headed for Fl. I think my other half and I are a little on edge. Everything up till now has been smooth sailing. I am very organized and still can't believe we packed so many boxes. Once I can sit down and view all the great posts from all of you I will feel more relaxed. Thank you all for sharing your views. I think it should be a requirement for folks planning on moving to TV to visit TOTV. I can't wait to walk thru our new home.
Can you suggest anyone who I can hire to unload the truck

When hubs was there with a big trailer to unload, I hired 2 guys for him through G and G moving. The do NOT have dollies, etc. He brought his own. They were wonderful and hubs said they did an excellent job. 407-276-2252 I found them on a u-haul site and they had all 5 star ratings.

Oceangirl, Oh, wow, such memories. We used ABF last Sept to move to the Village of Pennecamp from MA. I know how tired but excited you are and eight months later it is still worth every ache and pain to get here. No regrets. We used a couple of boys from the Villages Charter School. Troy has his own business helping to unload or move furniture. Really nice kid and he brings guys from the football team to help him. His # 352-874-8958. They are very careful and quick. Welcome home. Nancy

What part of Maryland are you in? We're in Harford County, Bel Air to be exact. I just got a quote from ABF for 2 cubes $1757 and 3 cubes $2297 for door to door.

Since I have a bedroom set on the second floor I'm going to need help loading. They gave us a list of about 10 loaders with prices ranging from $408 to $517 for two men for two hours.

I'm waiting now for my 1:00 appointment with Mayflower, then I'll decide which route to go. We have closing on our sale of our home June 29th and then we'll be southward bound. Were gong back down for three days beginning June 6th to hopefully put a deposit on a new home. Good luck on your move.

We live in Frederick . I have several friends from your area. We had a trailer dropped off and used 18 '. They were very easy to work with. I am going to get a price from them to have truck unloaded when we get there. She sent me an email yesterday. If you need any additional info send me a pm. We will be out of our home tonight and staying in a motel for the remaining days.
Good Luck

I have heard that The Village Movers unload for a fee. They want 3-4 hours however, Not too bad I don't think.
