Default Safety, Safety, Safety

Just a couple of simple suggestions to keep you safe:
1. Walking or walking your dog in the early morning or after dusk, wear something reflective or at the minimum something light.
2. When driving your golf cart make sure that your golf bag or a golf towel is non hanging down covering your turn signals
3. If you ride a bicycle, ALWAYS wear a helmet.. a fall could make you hit your head on a curb, etc. and the results could be catastrophic. Wear something reflective when you ride as well.

Great safety wear for both daytime and nighttime walking and bike riding is a yellow/orange road construction safety vest with reflective banding crisscross and around front and back. Cathcart makes a very light one which is punched throughout with small holes to avoid heat buildup. It is feather light. They have valcro tabs down the front so its easy on/off.
Walking at night we've been mistaken for utility crews looking for a trouble spot; so they reflect well, people spot us by light reflecting from their windows..
We bought ours up North for $8 each in a Tractor Supply type of store which caters to farm and outside workers.
When walking at night it won't hurt to have a flashing red light clipped front and back and a good flashlight to beam at approaching traffic.
