Default Trash disposal

Does The Villages incinerate trash or put it in a landfill?

I beg to differ, Red. It goes from a transfer station to several (location dependent on which county) different trash burning power plants.

Default Trash pick up

I missed the trash pick up this morning and wonder if there is a location to bring it to for disposal? Any suggestions?
Thanks for your help.

The only place is at the Sumter County landfill......not sure of the address. just google it. There is a place to take your items to recycle on Rolling Acres Road, but it is only for those residents who live in Lake County.

Yep, one of the "quirks" of The Villages being in three different counties.
