Now that I am finally a permanent villager and have the house mostly put together, I am turning my attention to other important things, such as the opera!! Would love to know of anyone who travels to the opera in Sarasota. It's a schlep for one person although I will do it if I have to. The local opera club of the villages seems to be oriented toward local activities. Any info will be appreciated.

I am also interested in traveling to opera performances in Europe as well so would love to hear from fellow entusiasts.
