Default Golf Cart Zipper- Has pulled away from the plastic curtain

2023 Yamaha Gas: The zipper near the top of the curved 'door' panel has separated from the plastic. It has always been tight when zipping.

Is this common? Is there a fix?

Thanks!

Ours from Villages store did the same with the newer curve at the top. Had the same enclosure with carts and clubs for 8 years with zero problems.

Take it in girls should be able to fix it pain 5 minutes.

It happens. Google shoe goo and order up a tube of it (about 6 bucks from Amazon). Put some where the tear is and let it dry any you’re good to go. It won’t look perfect, but it’ll work, plus you’ll have plenty left to fix any shoe soles that separate from the shoe. It’s good stuff.

Did you ask the vendor about a warranty repair, you should not have this type of problem so soon, ours is around 6 years old, and no problems, also a Yamaha Gas unit.

Default Luxus

We had ours put on at Luxus in Leesburg. The quality is top notch, I’m not sure if they do repairs on other peoples work though. You could try giving them a call. (352) 323-8006

Called Villages Golf Cars. They said it isn't covered. They referred me to a private company that fixes them. I'll assume it will be expensive so I'll try to repair it myself.

You bought it from Villages Golf Carts within the last 12 months and it’s not covered?
WOW, they covered a problem with my fabric, no questions asked.

Is there a local SHOE repair shop around. They might be able to help sew it back together.

Covers and Canvas in Summerfield can fix that. My last golf cart had this issue and they were able to fix it in one day. Cost was around $50.

Both of the zippers on my golf cart were tight and over time they tour away from the enclosure. I removed the enclosure and took the pieces to QUALITY GOLF CART ENCLOSURES AND MORE 15289 S Hwy 441 Summer field, FL 34491

They did an excellent job. They added extra material so the zippers would not be tight. And the replacement zippers were top quality. I don't remember what I paid but the price certainly was reasonable.

Default Talk to the sales person who sold you the cart

If you just called in an told them what the issue was they'll tell it's not covered. I would talk to the salesperson who sold it to you and the service manager. I had an issue mechanically and was told it wasn't covered. I talked to both and told them I bought the cart from them because I expected to be taken care of not given a run a round. It was suddenly covered. I think you just need to talk to someone in charge.
