Default Daily Sun, Web vs. Print

The meth lab thing has gotten my curiousity up about the Daily Sun and what their web version contains? For those of you in the know. Does all the news they print eventually show up somewhere on the web site, or do they just put a few things in?

I don't know the answer to that but I have found most answers to why things are printed or not by calling the Daily Sun and speaking to the News Editor.

For instance...there was talk of a body found on a golf course in the northern part of TV last year and it was not in the Daily Sun. It turned out to be a suicide and the editor said they do not print information on those kinds of things.

They print the facts directly from the police blog and do not tend to add speculation or any kind of extra information. They occasionally print picture of accidents .

They really don't need to be a paper that has a policy like that of The Orlando Sentinel. I bet they have a huge percentage of circulation here.

I LIKE The Daily Sun.

They only put very few things on the website. My opinion is the website is nearly useless for keeping up with TV news.

I agree but have to add that it covers national and international stories very well. Of course it has all the little stuff that goes on here too, but it is a paper that doesn't need to be backed up with another paper to know what is going on " out there".

I really believe that the people who are most critical are the ones that do not agree with it's political slant.

The Sun had a small paragraph on page C5 of today's paper. It didn't say much of anything. I learned much more on the television news from Orlando last night.

Old Dave: Website does not print it all. I find that policy not much different than our local paper back in Illinois. Although, our local paper in Illinois tends to be "conservative" in their editorials etc. they do present more writers with various points of view regarding the same subjects. I like the Daily Sun's classified section and that is their $$$$ maker. They don't print all of those on their website either.
