Other than that, the order from Costco was fine.

What happen when accidents occur on you’re property you’re responsible? What? The don’t have good shyster company lawyer?

If you use a credit card you can get “cash back”. Plus you don’t have to touch the thousands of germs on your money. And neither does the cashier.

I prefer debit card, that way they can drain my bank account. Cash still king for few more months, till it’s worthless.

Take look at this quick video which easily demonstrates how droplets are blocked when a mask is worn. Just think of every one of those droplets carrying the virus. Here is the video.............

And we all thank you for that.

Now please explain the people who drive in their car alone with the windows up wearing a mask.
Or those riding in their golf cart alone with a mask.
Are those people afraid? Or are they "protecting" their steering wheels????

Why are you still going to supermarkets? Everyone can avoid the screaming, facemask debates, aisle direction jujitsu, etc by simply ordering delivery or curbside pickup.

It is way more expensive and many people have to watch every penny, especially right now. This is not a 'one size fits all' situation.

Harder than ever before. People scream for many different reasons. No one knows what this person was going through. Someone in his family may have died or is very sick. My wife has cancer. Others have so many reasons to scream. For those 10 seconds his life just needed to scream.
It was just 10 seconds. Please have a good day everyone.

Once, a few years ago, I was working at a particular store. Parents sometimes brought their kids with them, but it wasn't a common thing outside of Back to School Season.

On a particular day, a mom came in with her toddler. The toddler was making a fuss in every aisle - we could hear him whining MOMMY I WANT....

He was getting pretty worked up, and eventually it sent him into a full-blown temper tantrum complete with uncontrollable gasping and physical shuddering.

Mom, the trooper that she was, got him safely through the aisles, getting what she needed, and finally they ended up at my cashier line. The kid was still screaming - I mean SCREAMING. As if she was beating him bloody - even though she clearly hadn't laid a hand on him, or even raised her voice.

So - I screamed too. Shocked the crap out of my fellow co-workers but I figured hey - if it's good enough for this kid to get it out of his system, it's good enough for me.

Well that shut this kid up quick in a hurry. And everyone in line laughed their butts off. It was a wonderful day.

Coffee bean, you are right. In most cases the mask is to protect others, a respectful, kind and even noble gesture for the health and well-being of others who may be at risk. Sadly, those who don't understand this simple concept are either really too dumb to get it, but I think in most cases they just don't Want to get it.
Like you, I'll wear my mask to the store, make sure the fruits and veggies I choose are in good shape and clean them at home.

My explanation.

Thought I explained this a few days ago. I can only say why I did it. I wore my mask into the grocery store. After checkout, loaded groceries into car and drove home. Mask was not bothering me and I didn't even think to remove it until I got home. Silly me? Also, some folks with allergies may wear masks in golf carts for reasons totally unrelated to covid. You, golfing eagles, are smart, but, either you are just making a joke I am to slow to pick up on, or, in this one instance you didn't have all the facts. I honestly look forward to your input.

It takes less then a second to pull a trigger...
This wacko you say that only took 10 seconds could of done a lot of damage. It's NOT normal to yell from the top of your lungs in public places..

No, not directed at you. I can accept the few people who forget to take it off, but I've seen many dozens of drivers doing this and dozens more just out in their carts no golf bags in back. Personally, I think the poster put out by the PARKS AND RECREATION people that stated "masks are required for all indoor and outdoor activities" was misinterpreted by many. It only applies to parks and rec centers, NOT walking, riding in carts, golfing, cycling, or any outdoor activity where social distancing is easy, and especially not to driving your car. (The steering wheel part was a joke)

At this age and what I have been through in life I have earned the right to scream any time I want. I go to Costco in Orlando and if I curse there most all speak a foreign language so no one understands me.

Your a strange one... "Some New Yorker with a Push Cart", did the shopping cart have NY license plates on it?
Most people that speak other languages can also understand English, unless of cause they are illegals... In the Orlando/Kissimmee areas they are mostly Puerto Ricans, American Citizens that DO understand the language you were ready to curse with....

In truth I did get the steering wheel joke. But I still stand by the allergy scenario as being a legit reason for a mask in many outdoor situations.

Conceded. Except I didn't notice all those "allergy sufferers" wearing a mask last year. New allergies????:1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl:

You said that "your nerves were on edge" that tells me that you are a woman or a cowerdly man. I am a person who grew up in inner city federal houseing projects where there were fights, stabbing and shootings EVERY day. I volunteered for combat in Viet Nam because i felt it was safer for me there. Contrary to your cowardly fear i was trained to "face the fire" i have confidence, courage (od perhaps stupidity) bur my nerves WOULD NOT be on edge, i would have confrunted the situation. Most people DO NOT have the couarge to do so. Or the training to do so. Please do not consider this a slam on you. I have trainrd my 5 children to act responsibly and DO NOT turn your back and run when another person is in need
