Sears quality has been going downhill for years, that's why they are going bankrupt.

Not going bankrupt they are bankrupt.

Merging with K mart was the final straw that destroyed what was once a great institution.

We have had good experience with the Sears store in Bailey Plaza and good service from Sears when needed. We bought a Kenmore French Door Refrigerator there and have been very pleased with it. Would go there for other appliances when the need arises. We also were able to get our replacement filters there.

We bought a Kenmore front loading washer and dryer from the Sears Store 16 years ago, and they have been great!

I still have employee benefits with them and also with the Kenmore appliances made by Whirlpool. If say about 50 to 75 percent, maybe more, are all assembled on the same line as Whirlpool...
My father and father in law both worked for Whirlpool for over 45 years. I too worked there a couple of summers while going to college. If you don’t want Whirlpool try Maytag. Whirlpool owns them. Also Amana and Kitchen Aid.

I went there at the start of the year because I wanted to buy all new LG appliances for a house we were buying and online it looked like they could order them. When I got to the store, I was told that they couldn't get ANY LG appliances, much less the specific ones I was looking for. I wondered if it was a case of Sears being in such bad shape that they have lost credit with their vendors or if it was the short supply situation that everyone else was also in. I was able to get all the appliances between Home Depot and Best Buy, though I had to be somewhat flexible in the models I ended up getting rather than the ones I originally had picked out (though I did get the exact fridge I was looking for). And I had to be patient as some took several weeks. Still better than some of my friends who have waited months to get their appliances. I'm still not sure what the situation with that Sears appliance store is and since I'm no longer in the market, I guess I won't be checking them out again any time soon to try to find out.

Our new house came with Whirlpool washer and dryer. Funny thing, it is the exact same set we have at our northern house. For many years we have been buying appliances at Lowe’s or Home Depot as they make it so easy.

Yes, I've bought several appliances and hot water heater from the Dears store on 441/27 just south of 42. Excellent service and great pricing.
