Default Security cameras installation

Can anyone recommend a villager who can install a ring system and outside camera on stucco home and show us how to use it?

Are you sure it is a stucco house or concrete house with a textured cement finish? You can buy a Ring doorbell and install it where your old doorbell is located. If you connect the old doorbell wires to the Ring doorbell, it will operate the old doorbell as well as keep the Ring battery charged. The Ring doorbell will have a built in camera. Installation only requires you to drill 2 holes into the exterior wall. Any electrician or handyman can do it. Here are a few handymen to try.

There are a few more steps, you need to setup the RING app on your phone, setup an account, and then pair the ring camera with your app, and then hope it does not fail on an android phone like mine, my wifes apple phone works fine.......

Correct, you do need the app and an account. I have mine on an android phone and it has been working fine for 2 years.

We have a nest security camera, but installed it under the eaves, out of the direct weather, not into the cement but the wooden rafters, and ran the power cord through the attic to an outlet in the attic. .

Be creative. .

Default Ring

When I read the Op's question, I assumed they meant a "Ring Alarm" system and camera. Not just a Ring video doorbell. They didn't actually specify.

Amazon has an attachment for ring cameras. It attaches to the gutter, it’s a no damage installation. I also installed the ring solar panel, so nothing is hard wired. Its been up for a year with no issues.

Also consider Blink doorbell cam and other Blink indoor and outdoor cameras. Both companies are owned by Amazon. Blink is usually less expensive..

I live in Calumet Grove, which is close to Lopez CC and restaurant. District 4 in the Marion county part of The Villages. Yesterday a house located on Fieldcrest had crime scene tape, a forensic van and a couple police cars for several hours.

Someone on ND posted that an elderly man opened his door to a person requesting a refill of a water bottle. The older gentleman was overpowered, wrapped with duck tape and his car was stolen. Car was recovered.

The above was information from a post on ND and veracity is not verified.
Several of my neighbors reported driving by the scene.

I bet that man wished he had a doorbell cam.

I don't understand how a doorbell cam would help in that specific situation. Someone asked for a water refill once he opened the door. He likely said yes & let them in to get the water. The same would happen with a doorbell cam. Someone would ask for water or help of some kind through the audio/video & a kind hearted, good Samaritan would open the door.
