Default Slow traffic on Buena Vista at circle in front of Arnold Palmer

The reason for the back up?

They are removing the bushes at each entrance to the traffic circle to improve visibilty.

Very much needed at that location (and many others).

Glad to see progress in the name of trying to make travel in TV safer.

I agree lot of over grown shrubs going into roundabouts and intersections blocking vision in most cars. I don't under stand why 4 or 5 foot shrubs were plant that close to intersections anyway? Most intersections have limited view unless your in jacked up truck. Even trying to exit from neighboring villages this can be problem? I also think planting flowers every 4 months in roundabouts is dangerous when low prennials would do and be just as pretty with little maintenance?

Hush your mouth about the annuals.

Any bush planted here is gonna grow much bigger than it was last year and fast growing is happening RIGHT now. I can't believe how ours have grown just in the past WEEK.

I love the changing annuals. Beautiful color year round.
Perineals give about a week or two of color.
How many injuries have there been changing the annuals? Using the dangerous logic I suppose we should concrete all the grass lands on the right of way because it could be dangerous mowing.

That why you don't plant bushes that reach height that blocks vision at intersections. You plant them 100 yards down the road so they don't block vision.

Nothing wrong with annuals at villages entry ways, road leading into villages street, or around the squares. But, why in the middle of the road? I'm not totally against it, maybe in few spots at major entries into villages? Which is very dangerous for the workers several times season no matter how may cones are out. Besides who gawking at them driving down the road? Just don't make sense to me? There will be day when cost will out trump pretty? New Contract has already gone up 300% what I read in my district and it plants the cheap ones

Guess you Need to ask the workers? Wasn't some one hit at 466 BV last summer? Mowing grass along the road is stretch don't you think? Beside just like MMP injuries there no statistics being taking that I can find?

As traffic get heavier I foresee more close call or someone being hit. What are we up to now 118k? And rising?
