Has anyone installed an attic antenna north of 466 that receives UHF/VHF (network stations)?

I have a directional UHF antenna (down in Fenny) with a pre-amp and I get 40+ stations no problem. Last edited by Battlebasset; 04-17-2023 at 01:20 PM. Reason: Additional info |

I mounted one in my attic and can get usable several channels out of Orlando plus several Spanish language ones.

I have an Outdoor Channel Master CM4228 with an CM-7779HD Preamp and get numerous (over 60) channels from Olando including the NextGen ATSC 3.0 channels. I live in Marion county near the Sumter county border.

NBC 2, CBS 6, and Fox 35 come in pretty good unless there is a storm. ABC 9 is always bad. I can tweak it to get better ABC, but then I lose NBC. I find it beyond comprehension that none of the majors seem to think it's worth the price of a tower to reach the million-or-so potential viewers in Marion-Lake-Sumter counties since a large number of those viewers are old codgers living in retirement communities who still like to watch live TV. |
