Default Attic antenna north of 466

Has anyone installed an attic antenna north of 466 that receives UHF/VHF (network stations)?

If you plug your address into antennaweb.org, you will have an idea of what you can receive. Assuming you are pointing your antenna at Orlando, what is immediately between you and Orlando will have a big impact (large tree, building, etc).

I have a directional UHF antenna (down in Fenny) with a pre-amp and I get 40+ stations no problem.

I mounted one in my attic and can get usable several channels out of Orlando plus several Spanish language ones.

I have an Outdoor Channel Master CM4228 with an CM-7779HD Preamp and get numerous (over 60) channels from Olando including the NextGen ATSC 3.0 channels. I live in Marion county near the Sumter county border.

That was interesting. It says I can only get two, neither of them from Orlando. I actually get 25 (not counting spanish), although most are pretty flaky. I have a Channel Master outdoor antenna in the attic, with a booster, and I live on the extreme north side, near Mulberry.

NBC 2, CBS 6, and Fox 35 come in pretty good unless there is a storm. ABC 9 is always bad. I can tweak it to get better ABC, but then I lose NBC.

I find it beyond comprehension that none of the majors seem to think it's worth the price of a tower to reach the million-or-so potential viewers in Marion-Lake-Sumter counties since a large number of those viewers are old codgers living in retirement communities who still like to watch live TV.

Which Channel Master do you have? The CM4228 with an CM-7779HD Preamp works great for me in Marion county but I have it outside, not in the attic.

Sorry, I told you wrong. I had a Channelmaster something or other in Texas. According to my Amazon account, my current antenna is a GE #29884-PK1 , with GE (Jasco) amplifier, model 42179.
