TPO is excellent material for roofing. Be sure it was made by a known supplier here in the US. (Carlyle is a top brand, Firestone is good). Normally comes in different thicknesses. .045 mil is as thin as I would allow. This should last at least 10 years. .060 mil is a little thicker and should last 20 years. Thicker is also more resistant to hail damage. Next question is how it will be adhered to the roof. Mechanically fastened is best or it can be glued down. Be sure the supplier gives you a wind rating in the proposal. For here, insist on 120+ wind rating. When completed, you should get a written warrenty from the TPO roofing material company.
