Default Serenity pools near Marsh Bend

Will be retiring in a few months and came to look at homes in Marsh Bend. What I always have appreciated about TV when compared to other 55+ communities is the three levels of pools i.e. sports, family and serenity. I don't have grand children and sometimes I just want to rest by the pool without the little ones around. Del Webb, Top of the World, LG Homes (Valencia Communities), K. Hovnanian communities typically have a pool for all to share. In looking around Marsh Bend I was very concerned because I did not see any serenity pools in that area. Cattail and Riverbend will offer family pools but no serenity pools. Does this change represent a change in philosophy by the developer to put in more family pools and less neighborhood adult only pools? Any thoughts?

There is an adult only pool in The Village of McClure at the Willow Tree rec area. I doubt there is a shift in the developer’s formula.

Sometimes the adult pools are as loud as family pools. Only guarantee for the quiet peaceful surroundings is your own private pool

You’ve said a mouthful! I’d rather listen to kids having fun than some of the old timers complaining because others are in the way of their walking and talking from side to side in a pool.

I am not a huge pool fan but the times I’ve been there (three times or so a month) never had that problem.

We prefer the Rec Center pools and the antics and music of the “little ones” voices to the snorers and bobbing heads who somehow fool themselves into thinking that walking from side to side holding foam barbells counts as some form of exercise and the looks we get for invading their territory as We try to swim in a lateral direction.

Sounds like you could use some knowledge about the benefits of water walking.

I doubt every every waterwalker has Arthritis but most could do with eating a lot less and not fooling themselves thatwater walking and chatting will do the trick. Besides, we have SPORTS POOLS more suited to those who want to use pools for exercise. It is very annoying to have these lanes taken up by the chatters and have to walk around them.

Sounds like you could use some education about how to use our wonderful pools.

“Recreation Dept. strives to make the pools safe for everyone’s use and enjoyment. The neighborhood adult pools are intended for refreshing socialization and non-organized/scheduled activities. Regularly scheduled water exercise groups are encouraged to use the sports pool for this purpose. “
