Default Anyone notice the markings on the traffic circle near Old Mill Run?

How do you like the markings going into the entrance to Old Mill Run from the north? They seem to have put yellow markings so there is just one lane when approaching Old Mill Run from the north.

They're doing that on several of the traffic circles down south. I guess the purpose is to preclude two lanes of traffic trying to enter a one-lane street. We'll see.

I usually do not get any farther south than Lake Miona Recreational Center so I had not seen this on other circles.

I did make me pay attention to the yellow lines while I was driving.

Speaking of yellow lines....we came back from Crispers via golf cart on Parr Drive (see separate thread about cops writing tix for cars passing golf carts on this road). We noticed that the road has been restriped....numerous places where one side or the other can legally and safely pass; other places, not so safe for passing, where double yellow lines persist. So, looks like they tried to reach a reasonable compromise with golf carts and cars sharing this road.

Back to Tal's original post.... the markings at the roundabouts do help channel traffic better and won't impair flow/capacity of the roadway.
