So, what do you do and why do you like it?

WAY too much information for me!

I shave with a NORELCO battery razor and it is wonderful. Up until a couple of weeks ago I also shaved my head. It is necessary to keep the blades sharp, but the way to do that can be found on U-tube.
.......My beard is about average toughness. If someone had a tough beard and a tender face - they might do better with some other method or brand.........but I sort of doubt there would be any improvement.

I like the 5 blade stick hydro power that vibrates the best. It's not the closest....but it's the most comfortable and you really have to try to cut yourself. There is really something to the vibrations

Amazon.com

As far as cream, I haven't noted any performance difference between anything including conditioner and soap but I also noted the conditioner makes the floor slippery. I just go on what smells good...like this

1805 Shaving Cream Tube - Truefitt & Hill US

It's $$ per tube but you use a pea sized dot of it to get your whole face lathered up so it lasts literally a year.

You’ll have to use a mirror. Note: don’t smile while using a feather blade, you’ll regret it
That's my setup but with Aveeno shave gel. I bought a bunch of the feather blades a few years ago at 10 cents per blade and it looks like they now go for 47 cents per blade. Still cheap as hell.

I had about a 2 week learning curve but now I rarely cut myself. I had to get used to only one pass with the blade. Unlike the disposable blades most people use. Those blades tore my skin up.

I only use Barbados Red Striped Can. I have a 15 year old Braun that cleans itself and the foil blade is supposed to be replaced every 18 months. I live it up and replace every 12 months. I also have a Panasonic wet/dry Electric Shaver and I prefer Gillette 5 blade razor blades.

I have a Pitbull Head Shaver. I have a beautiful head of hair but decided not to go to the barber anymore during COVID and stuck with the Sleeker Streamline Version of Staying Bald! It’s the greatest. I take about a half hour every other day religiously because when I was still working I had no time to take care of such things. I like to feel good and I have a system that makes all the stuff I mentioned into a hassle free event.

I had nobody to show me how to shave properly when the beard showed up at 16 years of age. I can remember my mom saying that is not a beard, just put some milk on it and let the cat lick it off. My Dad was a great family man and father but he passed early unexpectedly. Rough times.
I taugh all three of my boys when they were just youngins how to shave. Two Stepsons and one Adopted Son. They all did pretty well. I saw the oldest one on FaceTime the other day and he looked like one of the Duck Dynasty guys or even ZZ Top. He told me that the way it’s gonna be because it cold in New Jerkey.

At a running event some years ago (Long Beach, CA Marathon), a small perfume-tester sized bottle of a product was handed out in the goodie bags. It was called Shave Secret. It was some kind of oil (eucalyptus?). I have used it for 10-15 years since. You buy it in a one-ounce bottle. Dropper Bottle looks like the kind that contains pool testing chemicals.

It lasts me weeks. I use 3-5 drops in my palm, and rub it into my wet face/neck. Then shave. It acts as both shaving cream and after shave, no need for multiple products. Smoothest shaves I have ever gotten (Aside from a barber applied straight razor/hot towel treatment). Stuff is stupid cheap also. SHAVE OIL - SHAVE SECRET

Depends on what area I’m shaving.

Face is with Gillette.
