Just wondering if any of you have taken any classes at the Lifelong Learning College? What did you take? Did you like it? Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks

I have taken some WONDERFUL colored pencil classes from Nan Klein who has retired. Those classes are now labled Klein-Caputo method. Still taught by an excellent teacher.
I have taken another art class that was taught by someone who I thought had no business teaching. He is a wonderful artist, but he reduced some to tears and the class quickly lost students. To me he was impatient and puzzling and harsh. This year I found very few items of interest to me. What sorts of classes would others like to see? Oh I know one I would like, how to make frames for pictures and canvases and do simple mitering etc.

I have and found it is hit or miss about content and instructors. The beginning quilting class I took was really a sewing demonstration class rather than a quilting class.

I have taken classes in Stained Glass, Glass Engraving,One Brush Painting, Ballroom Dancing, Spanish, and a painting class where you painted a landscape in one day and brought home a framed painting. I can't remember the name of that one. I probably took some more, too. All of the classes that I have taken were fun.
