Default Shoeboxes-any suggestions?

Cleaned out the closet and have about 15 or 20 shoeboxes. I think there is an organization that uses shoeboxes but don't know who to contact. Does anyone know?

there is a org called operation shoebox, that you can find in the rec news, but I don't think they realllllly use shoeboxes. I'd put them curbside on recycle day-- cardboard and glue are great roach food.

Operation Shoebox only uses cloth stockings that are made by the volunteers. If you want to see an amazing operation, go to Lake Miona Rec Center on most Mondays from 1 to 2:30. Most of the center is taken up by hundreds of volunteers filling stockings for our troops all over the world. The December schedule has a lot of time changes so just call Sandy whose number is listed in the Rec News under Operation Shoebox for current times.
