Many floor plans in the new homes are the same as the older villages models, just with different names. Same models have different names depending on if they are block construction vs vinyl siding construction. That is true in the older village homes between the 66s.

I find driving behind a gas cart in a tunnel is not pleasant. Besides the heightened noise level of the cart, the smell of gas is strongest to me.

I don't have a horn on my bike. But I'm not shy about yelling REALLY LOUDLY if I need to alert someone to avoid a collision or other emergency. I have a strong "outside" voice.

Are the trains still blowing their horns at every crossing there? The trains can be ordered to not use horns (except to warn of danger if there’s a person or vehicle on the tracks.) Chicago suburbs have silenced the freight trains. The improvement was immense.

The gas leaf blowers are over-used & far too loud too. The crews always seem to have one guy who rides the mower & another who leaf blows & a third who runs the weed wacker the entire time they are here. The lawn mower sets the pace since they all finish whenever lawn mower guy is done. What if the lawn takes 15 minutes but the blower & wacker really only need to work for 5 minutes each. They seem compelled to keep doing it rather than being a slacker IMO.
