Default Finishing Touch for Lanai

We have had our lanai enlosed and terracotta tile has been laid on the floor. However, we are in a quandry as to how we can cover the cement lip (it abuts the tiled foor) that protrudes from the sliding glass doors that lead from the living room area and also from the master bedroom. There is a slight step down from both rooms of about 2 inches. We intend to have baseboards installed around the lanai as well as trim around the sliding doors for a finished look. Has anyone faced this issue with their lanai and does anyone have any suggestions or ideas for a finished look?

Default Masonry Paint

We had a similar situation with our open lanai about what to do on the outside of the screened area that touches the ground. Our workman used a similar color to the floor and just painted it. Looks fine.

Default Use Cement Paint

I just had my lanai finished and used a matching tile/grout color paint to cover the cement step that you describe in your email. It took me about ten minutes to do. The other possibility was to use the same matching tile baseboard; but that was too expensive.

I also cement painted the outside cement landing the same color as the baseboard.
