Default A Single Code to Open Both Garage Doors?

Newer house- south of 44. I'm aware that if both doors are open they can be closed simultaneously by just hitting the ENTER button on the key pad. But can they be programmed to both open hitting a single code? Thanks.

Please state the make and model openers you have.
But likely it will work fine.
Until only one door is open, and you try to open the other. One up, one down could happen.

Most of the garage door openers are programmable, so if you use the SAME code to program the second door, both should open and close at the same time. I am not sure why you want to do this, but IMHO this could present a safety issue if someone is NOT expecting the second door to open or close with the first one.

Why. Convenience (laziness). We frequently move our folding chairs from the cart to the car... from the car to the cart depending on which vehicle we tale. It would just save a step.

It can be done, but it's a little complicated and unless you're experienced with technology, you'll probably need a professional to do it. If it was an old unit, you could program all the DIP switches the same, but with the newer "rolling codes" it's much more complicated.

Are the golf cart and the car in separate garages? Why not just do the transfer of the chairs INSIDE the garage and then open the single door that you need to open in order to get the vehicle out?
