I don't believe you are sorry at all to pop bubbles.

You are correct. I was going by memory but at my age, I should look at the actual rates. I found last summer's rates and prices are up a bit.

To him, yes, I am sorry

To others, it goes on a case by case basis

So a 5% increase, that’s good, considering inflation is running at 6 or 7%.

If you’re going to complain about he rates, please don’t complain about the course conditions.

I’m sorry. I didn’t realize informing the OP that the rate did in fact go up when he thought they were the same was “complaining “

I wish there was a decent explanation for why Southern Oaks is more expensive than the others. It is nowhere near as good, imo.

Does this mean each successive regulation course will be more expensive to play than the previous newest?

Probably charge more because they can. The next closest championship length course (Belle Glade) is a pretty far cart ride away. Prices may even out when more championship length courses are built down south in the future.

My guess I that it cost A LOT more to build than the previous one .

And another guess is that yes, the next being built as we speak will probably cost more to play ….

Actually they are up again. For Residents in the AM wave an increase of $2.00 to $2.50, and in the PM wave up $1.50-$2.00. For Non-Residents the increase is even greater, $2.50-$3.00.

Rates are much less after 3:00 PM at Orange Blossom, Tierra Del Sol and Southern Oaks but still up. Likewise in the "Evening Wave" at all the other courses rates are much lower. But the fee sheet doesn't indicate when that "Evening Wave" begins.

Evening wave begins at 3:00 PM on 18 hole courses and 4:20 on the 27 hole courses.

Rates do not reflect sales tax, correct? 7 percent on 40 is a few pennies more than on $38. So what. We're all wealthy
And the courses are sure worth the price.
