Default Size options for Larger garage?

Moving to TV this year. Are there houses with a garage that are 12' in height and 25' deep? That dimension would fit our little RV. Or, can garages be modified without interrupting the space/time continuum? Thanks, Bob.

Not sure but your only option may be to buy an oversized lot, build the house you want, and add a garage to your dimensions. Having said this, I would definitely call ARC to make sure this could actually be done. There maybe restriction on height of garage. I am sure this will have to be an add on type project. When we had our house built, one of the specific questions I asked was for 9 foot ceiling in the garage, it was not an option, even on a new house. The existing garages with the design of the trusses do not lend themselves to alterations, I have been looking at this also, but have not gotten to hiring a structural engineer yet.

Your other option would be to store your RV in one of several local lots, I think they offer both covered and uncovered storage.
Hope this helps, and welcome to TV.

Check the Village of Harmeswood. I saw some homes there with unusual high garages. I don't know for sure, but worth a look.

Someone constructed an RV garage two years ago on the historic side. The tallest garages I've seen here have an extra horizontal garage door panel. These only give you about 9'.
The newest Stonecrest homes have 11-12' heights. Didn't measure, but the airhandlers are suspended in the garage at least 8' high plus the height of the air handler.

I've seen a few of the Premier homes with an RV garage. I know there is at least one in Sunbury and one in Harmswood for sale. I'm not sure if any of the Premier homes in the Bridgeport villages have the RV garage. A year or so ago, there was a home in Winifred that had an 8 car garage (extra deep so could get more than one car in each door). So, there are a few around, you'll have to look hard and be prepared to pay for that feature.
