So what day should I mark on my calendar?

Announced in May 2023, ground breaking December 2023, stated in September 2024 that it would open later in the year, and now in April 2025 said to be opening this Summer.

I hope it happens, it looks good, but so far Christmas has come sooner....twice.

We love the rec center as it is now, very peaceful and quiet. Harry’s will ruin it. Homes close to it in St Johns will have values plummet too. There’s been a very nice pool home for sale directly across the street for months now. It’s obviously been a tough sell.

Probably priced too high. Many people think they can still double their purchase price in 2-3 years. That ship has sailed...

Personally, I would like a restaurant close to my rec center or pool, and certainly near my home. Deaton Plaza is just a few miles and an easy golf cart ride from our hime. We enjoy several of the restaurants...
