We would like to have a Preakness event featuring Horse Racing with Betting. I attended one a few years ago and have no idea who they had hired to do this event. It was a lot of fun. Does anyone know of someone who does this type of event? I remembered you stood in a square and they threw a dice and you moved forward. Who ever got to the end first won the race. Thanks !

But if you wanted to hire someone, try Tom Dorazio and his electronic horse races. He is listed in The Villages phone book. He projects real horse races onto a screen. Betting is done at your own tables with one person winning the pot at your table. It is a little easier to run than the races with wooden horses and dice and a betting table/pay-off window, and having a marked track on the floor. |

There is a guy named Robert Lioret who does the same thing as the previous poster described. It is fun. His email is rtlloret@comcast.net

Tom Dorazio is the best in the Villages. He is in demand all, over. He doesn't charge as he enjoys entertaining.
He has real taped races that are projected on large screens. His number is 401-741-1093 Cell

Dave & Kathy Dutkiewicz do horse races that gets everyone involved.
Brfore each race the horses go up for sale (6 of them). the cost is 1.00 per horse. the winner of the race gets this pot. between each race everyone can bet on the horses in the next race. payout is for the winning horse only and it is based on the total number of bets divided by the number of bets on the winning horse. Generally there are about 7 to 10 races in an evening. Everyone has a great time. Dave and Kathy are in the Villages telephone book. |
