Unhappy So sad

It was so shameful that my greeting of "Good evening" to the gentleman (no he was not really) was responded to with "Oh just go F#$@ yourself". This was at the new Publix on 44...Lake Deaton Plaza. Thanks for that, it was uncalled for. Maybe the locals are right ...maybe we do have a false sense of entitlement and superiority. Maybe there are far too many of us that are rude and inconsiderate. Shameful.

Wow, this is quite a post for your first post.
I can't imagine why you would say "maybe the locals are right"! Have you talked to the locals and they told you that ?
I don't think there are "too many" rude and inconsiderate people. They are the minority. Many wonderful people here.

I was there yesterday and the employees seemed quite friendly. This was at about 3:30 PM after I saw Star Trek Beyond at the Barnstorm Theater.

Some of the customers there could just be people in transit travelling to Homosassa Springs or beaches to the east.

Was this gentleman working for Publix or was he a customer?

Did you say anything other than Good Evening like "Your mother wears combat boots? Were you standing by your golf cart that had political signage? Did you run into him with your cart? Did you use any unusual finger signs when you were saying Good Evening? Are you a MLS realtor and did you hand him a brochure? Are you an evangelical Christian and did you hand him a brochure? Are you in the habit of drinking in order to get in the mood to go to the grocery store? Do you now or have you ever worked for Winn-Dixie?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Kindest regards,

Gracie

I had a couple of questions, but you've already covered them, (and much, much more).

I just like you to pieces, Bonny.

(Someone just criticized me for saying things like that too.)

Life is too short not to have a little fun.

Probably just one of those cranky old bullies with some dementia. Except this one wasn't a key board King or Queen. They choose to be in your face.
