Played here today and was very disappointed. We, the residents, just paid to have it renovated. Tee boxes lacked grass and the greens were sandy. I don't think we got our monies worth.

Was it really refurbished or just some maintenance? It does not seem as though it was closed long enough for refurbishment.

It only had bunkers done. No greens or tee boxes. Yes, it needs a complete overhaul as does Hawks Bay.
We'll have to wait as others are being done.
