Default Newspaper collection locations for fund raising

Prior to moving to TV, we collected our newspapers and "donated" them to our local elementary school as part of their fundraising efforts.

Do any of you know if local schools, charities or churches collect (have drop off containers for) newspaper and magazines.

We have been putting the newspapers out on recycling pickup day, but would like to put them to better use.

where I came from there was an Asso of Retarded Citizens org that could shred your documents and recycle. Just love that. really don't like all the junk mail going in the trash at mailboxes....

The New Covenant United Methodist Church on CR 101 (Behind Southern Trace shopping center) has a newspaper/magazine collection dumpster.
