Default Taking Friends to Daytona

Some friends are coming down Tuesday for a visit of 3 days. They have requested going to Daytona one of those days. Having not been there for 60 years was wondering where on the beach to go. Or where to avoid. It seems like when you get there you can go north or south. Any suggestions. Thanks, Bud

Unless you want the whole Daytona Beach vite.......stay South.

Port Orange area is very nice.

Good places to eat as well.

Agree adding New Smyrna a little further to the south.

Comes down to crowds or no crowds
If they’re wanting to do shopping, Joes Crab Shack, the boardwalk obviously you’re go to Daytona Beach boardwalk if they just want to go to the beach, sun tan, go swimming then Flagler has much more quieter. Sea shell collecting Ormond Beach is pretty good.
