Default Unplug it

You may have tried this. I have had similar problem with Vizio TV and have just unplugged it, waited about a minute and plugged back in. IF you can find an on/off button on the TV itself (not the remote), hold the button in for a few seconds while TV unplugged. This is similar to rebooting a laptop.

Most likely transformer, compositor, resistor on circuit board burnt out. TVs are so cheap now hardly anyone repairs them unless they can do it themselves ?

If no one is interested, your trash collection company should pick up, ours (Jacobs) schedules special pickups (cost $10) by contacting CSU. You can also drop off (no cost I think) at the Sumter county landfill, if you live in Sumter County.
