With now having the Chitty Chatty, Brownwood and Water Lilly bridges accessing the southern most executive courses from the north 40 are golf cart rentals still available for Gray or Red Fox, Longleaf, Loblolly, or Lowlands? I could not find an answer from golf the villages.com and no response from their email inquiry.

You might try calling on of those courses (Gray Fox, etc).

Yes, they are still available. You can get one at the starter shack. Last I heard they are $3 per person.

Thanks to both. I'll find the numbers for the shacks and call to verify price or if you have to reserve them. Some of my playing partners were curious.

No reservations required. They always have plenty on hand with more available at the cart barns.

Cart rental is $6.00 per person for 9 holes every where in the Villages, not just S of 44.

In addition to the increase they also now charge sales tax that, I think, was included in the price before.

It was the developers way to slip in a 7% increase in golf rates.
