Guess you could get a seat if you're lucky. As we were sitting outside Dunkin' having coffee after pickleball this morning we observed two different women "reserving" front row seats by putting cushions on them. Here we go again! They better be in those reight now because if they're not I'll be sitting there.

What if we (only two of us) go there, pick up the cushions...very nicely put them on our lap. Would we be in trouble? I've never done this, but I noticed when I was there a few weeks ago; few seats were available...but a lot of empty seats with cushions. We'll be back in a few days..hopefully permanently, Seriously, does anyone know how to handle this? I realize....if you get there real early, sit in a seat, stay there...dance a little...sit back down..dance a little more..then it's YOUR seat. But, if you save the seat, then disappear dancing, is it fair to save the empty seat??....just asking.

Fixing bad manners at our ages is going to be difficult.

As Mudder said..."here we go again!" That ole entitlement mentality is rearing it's head again. As in bad manners!!!! Speaking of the folks who "save" seats etc.

We just don't deal with this issue---try not to let it bother us. We take our own chairs---always have even during the summer months for Scooter the DJ and Rocky and the Rollers. Usually take chairs during the winter months every time we go---leave them in cart if we don't need them. Needless to say, I don't think chair saving should be allowed--especially those that are "cushioned" as soon as the chairs are put out each day --but life is too short to sweat the small stuff and there are so many more important issues in this world today to worry about. I understand the ones that dance have to have some sort of "saving" so they can rest. We have gotten up before---left "OUR" folding chairs---green, cloth--nothing like the Square Chairs---came back and had people sitting in them!!!!
