Default Spanish Springs Town Square Renovations

Has anyone heard an update on when they are expected to finish the renovations in the SS Town Square?

Normally I would not be concerned, but I have family coming in the first week of August and I booked rooms for them at the Marriott Town Suites. I wanted them to be in a central location where they could enjoy all of the amenities that the town square has to offer without having to drive/navigate throughout TV. If the renovations are going to be prolonged, I might need to switch them over to The Waterfront Inn.

You might want to call the sales office to verify the official opening date.

They still can enjoy the entertainment in Spanish Springs. They have a tent set up in the street and the music plays on!

It's always the 3rd Saturday, cars start entering the square at about 2pm. I'll be on the square by 3pm, come over and say hello.

What changes have been made as a result of the renovation of the square at SS? I'm looking forward to enjoying the music and dancing at SS when I return to TV in October. When I was in TV the first half of June, the tent for music and dancing at SS was not being used yet, and the square was pretty torn up during that time, so I could not tell what the changes would be.

Default Thanks!

Thanks for all the information! It looks like all the renovations should be completed at least a week before my family arrives.

I stopped there to see for myself. My impression was that you will probably not even notice the difference.

Last night I looked at the SS web cam and with the trees removed and either new lighting or at least cleaning of the existing lighting it was very bright. A lot brighter than I have ever seen it.
