Thanks to every ones input and help.
By watching the new listings on The Villages 4 rent as suggested we were able to grab a rental in Tall Trees that looks great for Jan-March 2013.
So we will finally get to give the villages a try. I have been as you all know lurking on here since we visited in 2006. If the house sells we may come earlier but have locked down Jan-march to be safe. Thanks to all again who gave such helpful info.
