"Roundup is banned in more than 20 countries because the herbicide has been linked to an increased risk of non-Hodgkin lymphoma and other types of cancer. Roundup is not banned in the United States, although some states have prohibited or restricted its use."

What do say about cigarettes still being allowed to be sold?!! It's all about money, versus saving people's health.

The ingredients in Round Up appears to have linkage with the reduction in the honey bee population.

Yes, it is still on the market, but the formula has changed, and it is not as effective as it used to be. Roundup is still the best available.

You’re exactly right & I don’t use it! Round up leaves brown spots. I use Ortho & labeled says, Kills Weeds not Grass. Also I never had any luck with fertilizer businesses that want you to pay outlandish amounts of money & I never have been impressed with their products!

I have been using Scott’s weed & feed for years at my previous home in West Palm Beach. Used it here twice now (only been here 6 months)and my lawn looks better than any of my neighbors lawns who are paying $$$$ a lawn company to handle their lawn care. IMHO. The frost we had a little while back did a number on many lawns including mine, but it bounced right back and looks great again.

If you apply roundup or any like chemical right, only use it a few minutes every few months, and wear a mask and gloves, you are safe. The people at risk applying these chemicals, you’ll see a fog around them, they aren’t wearing masks or gloves, and they apply these chemicals 8 hrs a day.

Hit them with a sprayer filled with agricultural strength vinegar mixed with a little dish soap, so the vinegar sticks to the weeds. It doesn’t kill weeds as well as cancer causing chemicals, but you will have a better chance of being around to have a weed problem to deal with. As a bonus, your yard will smell like salad dressing for a couple days.

That is all well and good but make sure you are treating for” critters “as well. If you get mole crickets or chinch bugs your happy lawn will be sad sad sad

Round Up, but more importantly buy the generic 41% Glyphosate and save yourself lots of money. At Tractor Supply, you will find
the concentrated gallon for $40 a bottle. This gallon will make over 80 gallons of mix.
