Oh for sure if I need more cardamom, or any other bulk spices/herbs/nuts, or have a recipe that calls for more than just "a tomato" or "an onion" - I'll definitely go there. I might even stop by when I'm down that way, which does happen now and then.

Since Fresh Market has their $3.99/lb ground chuck and boneless chicken boobs, it's likely I'd be out that way perhaps every 6 weeks or so anyway. I could get my chuck or chicken, get a fresh sub roll from Publix (it is the BEST bread for making your own garlic bread), and some veggies at Sprouts. It's a nice little triangle, and I can easily get a bite to eat at the Mexican joint after getting the bread, then pick up the cold foods before heading home again.

When I'm /not/ going to Walmart, I try to turn my shopping trip into a little adventure. It's entertaining to me.

We stopped at Sprouts today. Was busy, but not crowded. It is hard to compare prices due to different brands. We did see eggs for less that $4.00 per dozen. Fresh strawberries were a good bargain as well as some clementines. A couple of common items with Publix were Taylor pre-packaged salads and Simply juices. The Taylor salads were 3 for $11.00. That is about the same as the non-special price at Publix. Simply Lemonade was about $1.00 more for a 52oz bottle. I thought the bulk food selection was good. The per pound price for Cashews (6.99) is probably better than Publix and maybe Sam’s packaged product.

Will we shop there? No, unless there is a specific item not available at Publix or they have a great special like strawberries or oranges. From our home there are 2 Publix and a Winn-Dixie which are more convenient. However, I hope they do well. I believe there is a demand and market for Sprouts.

As for getting out of the parking lot, if you want to go north on BV, just go south to the roundabout and then go north, or turn west on to Parr Drive, then north onto Southern Trace to BV. If one can afford to shop at Sprouts, you can afford to travel an extra 1/4 mile…

Went to Sprouts and very impressed with the meat and fish market, vegetable and fruit section. Service was way beyond expectation. Bought a selection and looking forward to trying them.

I agree about Publix sub rolls. IMO they also have the best subs in the area. Their bakery is also the best IMO.
