Four streets, sidewalks and shops line the square where the entertainment can be heard and even watched (in many places).
I choose the more flexible area outside the squares.
Park your cart and sit and listen.

Default Squares

Glad to see squares are opening backup with entertainment. There are people in squares nightly doing line dance and I guess bring own music. Think safe distance and be kind. I don’t understand how white crosses had anything to do with squares opening ? Enjoy life stop complaining.

Good point. Let us deal with the amount of risk we want to take.

Well since this came out the governor has gone into phase 3 so I’m guessing this is going to change the amount of people can be at the Square. There should not be a limit. It’s a personal choice! Those that are still paranoid do not need to attend!

The drink shacks will be open just no happy hour pricing so it doesn't jam up at 6 oclock

Have you ever even bothered to do the simple math? As of Friday, Sept. 25th:

13,915 deaths ÷ 695,887 cases = 0.01999 X 100 = 1.999% of cases have resulted in death, or put another way, 98% of everyone who had the virus survived it.

695,887 cases ÷ 21,000,000 Florida residents = 0.033 X 100 = 3.3% of Florida residents got the virus.

So, 3.3% of Florida residents got the virus and of those, 98% did not die.

Too many folks in TV community seem to think that every other person they encounter out in public has this thing and it simply isn't true.

What's the difference between a recession and a depression ? A recession is when the neighbor gets laid off. A depression is when I get laid off.

Always enjoy walking around the square and watching people in the center.

Since we are 100% open why would they need to do the ticket thing? No need now restrictions are over.

Do you honestly think that there are going to be 50-60 people in line at the drink shacks?

Thanks. Some really don’t want to do any research but just listen or read information without doing any other type of research. For example, In the US in 2018, pre covid and the most current year where data is available, there were 7,708 deaths per day for an annual total of 2,813,420 deaths regardless of cause. This year using the current 200, 000 total Covid related through end of August annualized, Covid will result in an additional 833 deaths per day. However the bulk of those deaths occurred in the first and second quarter and have been on a downward trend ever since so at some point we will know the daily death rate attributed to Covid (less than 833 per day) yet some of that data will remain suspect.

As Sen. Patrick Moynihan once famously said “you are entitled to your own opinion, but not your own facts”.

I understand that point of view, however in this time I strongly disagree. If your level of risk tolerance causes you to get Covid and the spread it to others with high risk tolerance who spread it..............and so on and so on, it affects me and everyone else who then face continued or even further restrictions AS THE RESULT. The countries that have successfully controlled and almost defeated the virus, are countries that have been very diligent about the recommended cautions and restrictionS, for THE GOOD OF ALL.

So the math dictates it is no problem? Share this math with the families of the 14,000 dead and see if that makes them feel better about losing their loved one.
