St Charles gate was closed This am around 9:00. Does anyone know why

Around 09:00 am this morning we were in our golf cart going to the new SweetBay-- there were several gold carts across the road along with a couple of bicycles--a man was lying on the grass and another man was giving him CPR--as we were entering the gate there was a fire engine and two ambulances coming through-- We do pray the man is alright--any one else know anything??

Haven't heard anything else. Trying hard not to give up my bike . Especially with the weather getting better . No matter how careful and defensive I am there are too many close calls.
