Thumbs down State of The Villages broadcast

Trying to watch the State of the Villages noon broadcast and there's no sound - it's not our tv. Anyone else having this issue? Any idea where to call? Wish I knew sign language....

No sound here either! Really annoying - wish I could read sign language.

I tried calling the radio station - "our hours are Monday through Friday blah, blah, blah." Tried calling Community Watch, thinking they MIGHT know someone to contact, but all I could get from that guy was "call your cable company." My cable is fine, thank you, it's the VNN station.

We can hope they get the word before the following broadcasts,

Additionally all the Rec Centers weren't working either (no sound).

We went to Lake Miona and watched the 3 pm broadcast but were disappointed that the family/history video that folks talked about was not shown. Several others in the audience had the same reaction. There was not much new content in Mark Morse's presentation.

For those residents that didn't have sound he said The Villages is the Friendliest, Healthiest, Wealthiest Growniest Town around. It is a Disneyland for adults and worth every extra dollar you spent and will spend to live here. Anyone who has a different opinion is a complainer, an anti-growthier and probably subscribes to the POA Bulletin Trust me.

Was this show only about a half hour long? Did anyone watch it on TV?

Would be nice if someone could upload the speech to youtube or some private website. Haven't been to one for many years, but would like to see what's up in TV. Haven't seen any comments in the paper.

There is an article in the on-line news called "All Glitz, No Substance", which pretty well sums it up. You have to click on more news at the bottom of page one, and then go to page two to find it.

They have had some inaccurate headlines lately. Yesterday they said a VILLAGER died of a hit and run and I reported it to later find out it wasn't a villager.

When looking for the State of the Villages on you tube, I found this. Not up to date but still entertaining for those off campus;

OK, I thought I was missing something, I saw it, yes about 1/2 hour, and it appeared I started viewing in the middle, so I wasted 2 hours watching VNN until the next broadcast ( I figured they had the times wrong), and saw the same thing.
I agree with above comments, not much meat in the presentation, sorry for the people that paid to see this.
