The Villages to Gainesville is NOT apples to apples. The age, ethnicity, and income demographic variables are oranges to apples. The only thing similar about Gainesville is the population number.

A friend of mine, retired in Phoenix liked to kid me about all the "STD's" in The Villages until I pointed out on the CDC website where Phoenix has more reported STDs than what is really reported here. Now, he never mentions it.

I asked my OBGyn about this years ago when it first came out. The doctor was upset about this rumor. She told me that there are women who have STD, but they already had it when they moved here.
