Question Still Confused

To All of the TOTV Members:

When changing sales rep's, can one request a specific person?

If the answer is "yes", what is the sales rep you used and were you happy with them?

Is the best option to call the sales manager and make a change of sales rep?

I know sales reps have been suggested before but I can't seemed to find the thread that contains this information.

We very much like Jim McLaughlin. He is now helping us find our second house in TV. He is older, nice, not pushy and knowlegeable....and very patient.

PLEASE don't say that I said he was older.

Hi 2B,
I had no need to change sales reps, but I think speaking with the sales mgr. would be your best bet. I don't see what it would hurt to ask for a specific sales person. The only one with whom I had experience was Nanette Tolleson. We were very pleased with her.

Best of luck. If you are considering a resale, don't forget to use an MLS Realtor and ask for an exclusive Buyer's Agent agreement. We were very happy with Linda Sears, Morris Realty.

I have been dealing with Greg Hudak --he is great --

I dont think they mind when you change Reps---just tell them there is a personality conflict

I think the way they work is the first rep still gets a part of the comission

Good Luck

Tell him Rich/Liz sent you

Interesting this question came up as I just changed my sales rep a few days ago. Was not happy with mine, contacted Nanette Tolleson (whom I met last year at one of the open houses) and she immediately handled the switch, there was nothing for me to do. Am I happy?? I am thrilled, she spent the entire day with me on Saturday and Sunday, and I bought myself a new house, construction to start immediately - I am all done! Nanette took a lot of time showing me all the different options, without pressuring me or short changing me on time. I can't say enough about her and note the difference between her and my first sales person. HOpe this helps.....you should feel comfortable that your sales person is not rushing you and taking the time to explain all the various options available to you, so good for you for considering changing your sales person if you have the gut feeling the person is not right for you.

Debra Park (sales agent for The Villages) sold our Villa and found us a larger resale home. She knew we wanted a resale and that we weren't interested in looking at new homes. Some posters have complained that Villages Agents try to sell new homes first and foremost. Debra listened to us, and never attempted to show us new homes. She is very experienced, responsible and a good communicator. Friends have also used her with great results.

Another vote here for Nanette Tolleson!
She went so above what ANY Agent has ever done. Made things happen I didn't think could.
If you go with Nanette, you will not be sorry!

The first sales rep we got just walking in was not at all to our likeing. After two days with her, we asked for a manager and was given a replacement named Tammy Griswold. Tammy was very efficient and professional. I would recommend her without any reservation.

We had 3 rep's before we bought.

Justin Wilson was the last and the best.
