I agree. He is a wonderful source of correct information about the IRS inquiry. He is fair and very smart and I miss him. |
This post is a fraud in my opinion. The author declares he lives in "the village of stonecrest!?#(@ Seems to me that isn't in The Villages or am I confused??
|
Solution... Build another bridge over Rt 441 so that StoneCrest can cross the road.
|
Solution - return it to the way it has been for the past ten years or more.
What advantage is it to villagers on the north side if TV expands into Fruitland Park or Wildwood and the developer wants to lie about cart access from other adjacent communities. Why is the developer still involved in the management of the north side villages? . |

I believe if most people were certain that Stonecrest would be the only community that would ever have/want golf cart access to The Villages, most would agree that it isn't worth the cost or trouble to install resident only gates.
The area around Stonecrest has largely been developed, and for this reason, many both in Stonecrest and the historic district of The Villages aren't worried about golf cart ingress from other communities. However, south of 466, there is a tremendous amount of undeveloped land East, West, and South of The Villages. If golf cart access is allowed from one community, it will make it more difficult or impossible to deny access to other communities. While it may not happen this year or the next, it is highly likely that new adjacent communities will develop, not to mention the cities of Fruitland Park and Wildwood. A very large portion of the Villagers that I know aren't spiteful, and don't want to punish Stonecrest, but they also don't want to see the Village's cart paths overrun by non-Villagers. The potential for this to happen is very high if access is not limited to Villagers. |
